Connecting your Google Play Developer Account with Mobimint ensures smooth publishing, updates, and migration of your app. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Check if You Have a Developer Account
- Go to Settings → Developer Account → Android in Mobimint.
- Select Yes if you already have a Google Play Developer Account.
- If No, create one here before proceeding. Follow this guide to
create your Google Play Developer Account.
Step 2: Invite Mobimint to Your Developer Account
Grant Mobimint access so they can publish/manage your app:
- In Google Play Console, go to Settings → Users & Permissions → Invite New User. Follow this guide
to invite Mobimint to your developer account.
Step 3: Complete Setup in Mobimint
Choose one of three options based on your case:
1.Existing Mobimint App
- Select Existing Mobimint App.
- Your App ID / Package Name (e.g.,
com.brand.app) will be auto-filled by the system. - Click Validate Setup to proceed.
2. Migrating from Other App
- Select Migrating from Other App.
- Enter your 3rd Party App Name or Package Name.
- Click Validate Setup.
- Your store listing, reviews, and users remain unchanged.
3. New App
- Select New App.
- Your App ID / Package Name (e.g.,
com.brand.app) will be auto-filled by the system. - Click Validate Setup.
- Note: Validation completes after the first upload. App name can also be edited.
Step 4 : Validation
- Successful: Mobimint confirms your setup.
- Failed: Double-check package name, invites, and permissions.
Step 5: After Setup
- Mobimint manages publishing, updates, and app maintenance.
- For migrations, your old reviews and installs remain intact.
- For new apps, Mobimint submits to the Play Store for the first time.
